For those unfamiliar, SOC 2 is a widely recognized auditing standard that assesses a company’s systems for managing customer data based on principles like security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. SOC 2 Type 1 certification specifically evaluates whether a company has designed and implemented systems that meet these trust principles at a specific point in time.
